What is the deadline for submitting an application?

Until 31 October 2026 at 23:59, unless the Academy officially announces an extension.

What specific flamenco categories are there?

The specific categories are Spanish and/or Flamenco Show, Female Spanish Dance/Flamenco Performer and Male Spanish Dance/Flamenco Performer.

Can a singing or guitar recital be submitted?

Not in the Spanish and/or Flamenco Show category, because the rules expressly exclude singing or guitar recitals from this category.

Is it mandatory to submit the complete show on video?

Yes. The required documentation includes a link to view the complete show. If access is private, the password must also be provided.

Can a flamenco production also compete for other awards?

Yes, if it meets the requirements of each category. Applications may be submitted in areas such as choreography, music, direction, set design, costume design, lighting or technical-artistic contribution.

Where should I send the dossier, photos and video?

After completing the online form, send the files digitally to secretaria.premioslorca2027@gmail.com, either as attachments or via a download link, as explained in the rules.

Are three performances in three different towns required for Spanish/Flamenco?

Section 2.3 sets that threshold for other categories but does not explicitly list Spanish/Flamenco. You still need evidence of the show's performances and a sworn declaration. Ask the Academy secretariat if your case is unclear.

Can a production submitted in an earlier edition apply again?

No. Under the call's rules, each show or candidacy may be entered in only one edition of the Lorca Awards.
