When is Suma Flamenca Madrid 2026?

The main programme runs from 13 October to 1 November 2026, with preliminary activities linked to the festival.

How many premieres are there at Suma Flamenca 2026?

The organisers announce 21 world premieres and 12 Madrid premieres, making 33 new productions within a programme of 47 shows.

Which show is most closely linked to the «Flamencas» theme?

Several performances directly connect with the leading role of women. Highlights include Antología de la mujer: 30 aniversario (Anthology of Women: 30th Anniversary) by Carmen Linares and Carmen by Karime Amaya. Caída del cielo (Falling from the Sky) by Rocío Molina also engages with that perspective through a contemporary language.

Which world premiere of flamenco singing is particularly worth seeing?

Argentina, Pedro El Granaíno, Aurora Vargas and Israel Fernández present world premieres. The choice depends on your preferred approach: Madrid’s memory with Argentina, intimate cante jondo with Pedro El Granaíno, traditional singing with Aurora Vargas, or a generational view of the flamenco recital with Israel Fernández.

Where can I see the full programme?

At Tablaos Flamencos, we have prepared a guide to the full Suma Flamenca Madrid 2026 programme, organised by venue and including practical information for checking tickets.

Can I combine Suma Flamenca with a tablao?

Yes. They are complementary experiences. The festival offers specific productions and recitals in a theatrical setting, while a tablao provides a closer and more regular relationship between singing, dance and guitar.
