When is Suma Flamenca Madrid 2026?

The main programme runs from 13 October to 1 November 2026, with preliminary activities linked to the festival.

How many premieres are there at Suma Flamenca 2026?

The organisers have announced 21 world premieres and 12 Madrid premieres, a total of 33 new presentations within 47 shows.

Which show is most closely connected to the “Flamencas” theme?

Several proposals are directly connected to the prominence of women. Highlights include Antología de la mujer: 30 aniversario by Carmen Linares and Carmen by Karime Amaya. Rocío Molina's Caída del cielo also engages with that perspective through a contemporary language.

Which world-premiere cante performance is especially worth seeing?

Argentina, Pedro El Granaíno, Aurora Vargas and Israel Fernández all present world premieres. The choice depends on the focus: Madrid memory with Argentina, intimate deep cante with Pedro El Granaíno, roots-based singing with Aurora Vargas or a generational vision of the flamenco recital with Israel Fernández.

Where can I see the full programme?

Tablaos Flamencos has prepared a guide to the full Suma Flamenca Madrid 2026 programme, organised by venue and with practical ticket information.

Can Suma Flamenca be combined with a tablao?

Yes. They are complementary experiences. The festival offers specific productions and recitals in theatrical settings, while a tablao provides a closer, regular relationship between cante, dance and guitar.
