Pedro El Granaíno is the most concentrated and solemn option, although both of his performances are sold out. La Tremendita starts from flamenco singing and takes it into a contemporary musical construction, while Ángeles Toledano uses her own recorded universe as the starting point for a new stage piece.

If you do not have tickets for the sold-out performances, do not overlook the city’s regular programme. Antonio Rey arrives with a well-established repertoire and a huge international career. Canito and Raúl Rodríguez propose a one-off encounter between instruments and roots music. Dorantes makes the piano the centre of a musical architecture presented by the Biennial as a world premiere. José Fermín Fernández offers the most stripped-back format, directly linked to the tradition of solo flamenco guitar.

For a guitar enthusiast, it is perfectly possible to devote all three days to guitar without repeating the same experience.

If you want to discover artists

A Biennial should not be experienced only by chasing the best-known names. Months before the festival, the organisers had already confirmed that, among others, the following were sold out: both Pedro El Granaíno performances, Dorantes and Ángeles Toledano. In August it also confirmed the performances by Ana Morales at the Real Fábrica de Artillería.

By late August, the organisers were speaking of more than thirty sold-out shows across the Biennial, and Infinita was among the titles with the highest demand.

The practical lesson is simple: if a performance this weekend still appears available and you genuinely want to see it, it is best not to delay the purchase for too long.

A sold-out ticket does not ruin the day

If you do not have a ticket for Pan de oro, you can use the morning for Tirititrán, visit La noche azul or explore Seville before the afternoon programme.

If you do not have tickets for Dorantes or Ángeles Toledano, Saturday still offers Canito & Raúl Rodríguez and the city’s regular flamenco programme.
